H.E.A.L. began with a shared vision among a group of healthcare professionals who recognized the need for greater collaboration between healthcare professionals in Liberia and those living and practicing throughout the diaspora.
Rather than working independently, the Founding Members believed that bringing professionals together across disciplines could create a stronger platform for education, mentorship, community service, professional development, and healthcare improvement.
From this shared vision, Healthcare Experts Advancing Liberia (H.E.A.L.) was established.
H.E.A.L. represents the belief that no single person, profession, or organization can address Liberia’s healthcare challenges alone. Sustainable progress requires collective expertise, strong partnerships, local engagement, and a commitment to developing solutions that can continue long after individual projects have ended.
